Jon Gilbert
Writer & Director
Jon has been writing and directing short films since 1994, and with Wild Honey since 2000. Over the past 8 years, he has worked as a reader for companies like Universal, Industrial Scripts, the Film Council and The Works International, as well as being a freelance script editor. After coming 3rd in the 2005 Final Draft Big Break screenwriting competition with The Sculptress And The Thief, Jon was signed to Independent (formerly ICM). As well as developing The Sculptress... with producer Kris Thykier (Harry Brown), Jon has written or co-written several other original feature film screenplays, including projects with directors John Williams (Hibernation) and Cath Le Couteur (Spin). His first feature film as co-writer, an adaptation of David Grossman's children's novel The Zig Zag Kid, is currently in post-production with director Vincent Bal (Undercover Kitty), starring legendary actor, Isabella Rossellini. Jon is represented by Independent in the UK and Elevate Entertainment and the Gersh Agency in the US.
Christopher Ross
Director of Photography
After leaving Nottingham University in 1997, Christopher worked as a camera technician for Panavision, on such films as Cold Mountain, Proof Of Life and Syriana before becoming a freelance cinematographer in 2006. Since shooting highly acclaimed feature London To Brighton, Chris has been Director of Photography on films as diverse as Eden Lake, Malice In Wonderland, and Sex & Drugs & Rock'N'Roll as well as numerous promos and commercials for (among others) Ridley Scott Associates. In the past two years he has served as DP on Channel 4 comedy Misfits and Marc Evans' 5-part ITV drama Collision. In 2008, he won the Kodak award for Best Cinematography for a Short Film (Soft, dir: Simon Ellis). Chris is represented by Independent Management.
