Wild Honey was created in 2000 by writer/director Jon Gilbert and director of photography Christopher Ross. Jon and Christopher met at Nottingham University in the mid-'90s where they set up the university's film-making society and made a number of short films together. Since establishing Wild Honey, they have made five short films on a variety of formats, all of which have featured music created by Nick Jew. The most recent, Toshi (2009), was produced by Matt Grimwood of Lazarus Films.
